| Artist I have spent several years now loving the challenge of pencil
portraiture. After learning how to draw (and adding my own twist) I have not been
able to put the pencil down. Graphite gives me the freedom to bring pictures to life and I
believe it is what I am meant to do. I strive to achieve realism in my portraits, while
generating my own style.
Each portrait is drawn by hand on high quality Bristol
board and protected with a fixative, which prevents smudging and yellowing.
Drawing can take anywhere from 8 to 60 hours to complete.
When I hear that tears have come to the eyes of my clients when first looking at their
portrait, I know my long hours of work have been well worth it.
I have been married 9 years and we have 2 beautiful little girls, who inspire many of my
drawings, and will always be my first priority.
