Gift Certificates

A hand drawn portrait is rarely an item on the registry, but it is always a welcome and treasured gift.  This does not need to be a professional studio-type photo.  In fact, I prefer to draw the candid shots.  Maybe it is a picture him giving her a piggy back ride or kissing beneath the mistletoe on New Year’s Eve.  Just make sure the photograph is clear and fairly close to the couple.

All portraits from Drawn By Debbie are drawn with graphite and charcoal pencil on high quality Bristol board.  Graphite brings sparkle and life to an otherwise “OK” photograph.   Great portraits come from photographs such as the couple walking hand in hand, gazing at each other, or just generally being happy together.  Break away from the ordinary and have a portrait made from a photograph of the traveling couple at a special location, the outdoor couple with fishing poles, the cuddly couple embracing, or the Earth-loving couple planting a tree together.  There might even be a photograph of them enjoying a shared hobby or holding a special child.  If you have a good, clear picture like this, it can be turned into a great portrait and a cherished gift.
